What to expect in our Journals
All of our North America Road Trip Journals are now published
In this section we plan to archive many of our journals. These are primarily for our use and, as such, contain a lot of detail that is of interest only to us (and we sometimes wonder afterwards whether we need that level of information – is it really important to know when and where we had every meal???)
Nevertheless, any posted journal is available for anyone to read as wished. For the time being, we have posted just two. The first covers our latest trip to England for the first six weeks of this year. Although it has a few photographs of the area in which we stayed and it covers some items of general interest (at least to us), it essentially covers the daily life of our “home away from home”.
The second journal is a three part epic (!) of our trip to India and Nepal in November of last year. This particular trip had been on our wish list for many years and, as such, we soaked up as much of the history, culture and life as we could. This is reflected in what became a sixty page journal – not typical for most of our trips, so if you do venture in, please don’t be put off from trying future journals by the length of this one.
And, as with all our journals, they are our impressions of what we saw and heard (sometimes supplemented by visits to Google) and should only be treated as such. Again, they were written for our benefit and future enjoyment, but we are happy to share them with anyone interested.

More journals will be uploaded in the future as time permits. We have them for most vacations – in varying degrees of length, detail and writing style – since 2001 and they cover visits to almost 50 countries and most US states.
